Regretfully, my 20-year old son had 2 occasions that required legal support with Brighton courthouse. Fortunately, we were represented by Nick Frye, both times, and always with very good results. Nick was excellent in every sense: he was very clear to us about the risks and alternatives of each situa...tion, he always focused on what was truly important and what needed to be protected; he was compassionate but advised us with honesty (no sugar-coating) and helped us keep a healthy perspective on what was going on. He showed lots of legal and trial experience in tackling the issues and was able to put to very good use his professional relationships with the courthouse and the police to our benefit. In a clutch moment at one trial, he argued vigorously and stood firm against an aggressive, overzealous prosecutor who was being unduly harsh on our son. The judge was convinced by Nick’s arguments, both legal and moral, and the situation was salvaged. This made a world of difference for the outcome, which ended up being reasonable, and more importantly, avoided any long-term consequences. Mr. Frye turned his back on dozens of couples he represented against our wedding videographer who we still have not had any resolution after two years. I have left several messages and phone calls for Mr. Frye as to the status of a judgment he obtained in 2013 and he has failed to return any of my ca...lls. Several other couples he represented are in the same situation. Therefore, as a result of this, I am leaving this review to get the attention of Mr. Frye. I am not happy with the lack of response.
