Reverting DOS advisory opinion on J1 212e.

I worked with Ellen on my J1 case, where DOS found me a subject to 2-year home residency restriction based on US government funding for my Ph.D. Four out of five 5-star rated J-1 attorneys I consulted with before told me that this case is extremely hard to resolve because of the government funding, a...nd suggested me going straight to waiver (which is not likely to get in this case either), or to fulfill the requirement and go to my home country for two years. Ellen did the miracle! I can't even describe how much we are thankful to her professionalism and experience based intuition. She wrote a detailed letter to the DOS, where she explained why they made a wrong initial decision regarding my 212e, and helped me get all the supporting evidences from my school and associated government agency. I should say that it is very rare case when DOS change their decision, and Ellen made them do it. Thank you so much Ellen! I highly recommend you as a 5-star professional to anybody who have J-1 related issues.

Best lawyer with successful results

Best lawyer in Boston. Very professional kind and respectful. I worked with many lawyers but no luck. Ellen is very knowledgeable in the law and always was ready to work and find the best law or regulations to solve my immigration status. She helped me with several kind of cases including J 1 visa, ...B 1 visa and Green Card. All case were very difficult and complicated but she successfully won all of them. Ellen also listened to all my concerns answered my questions and was ready to work. Very honest and realistic, explained the process of preparing the case, addressed all the difficulties that might come up and worked hard to answer and provide documentations to serve the case. Hire Ellen and you will get great results. l am glad that Ellen worked on my cases and produced wonderful successful results.

Best immigration attorney

I am a researcher in Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Ellen was strongly recommended by the immigration office in the institute and I felt lucky to hire her to represent my case. She always responded to questions quickly and is always willing to spend time to meet with me to discuss the details. My case... was not strong but she was able to do the best presentation to a degree that I felt I deserve a speedy approval. I am telling all my friends that Ellen is the best attorney, she has the most experience and she cares about her clients. Before Ellen, I hired another attorney who promised to do a "best practice". However, after I paid $750, she continuously put my case on hold for 2 years, saying my case was not strong and we should wait. I finally gave up and decided to change my attorney and after much research I contacted Ellen. She prepared my application within 2 months and my case was approved within 10 days. I really appreciate Ellen's help in my immigration petition!

very efficient and professional

I was very lucky that Ellen handled my EB-1 application. She provided a lot of valuable suggestions on how to present my case effectively. Importantly, Ellen and her assistant Daphne handled my case in a very efficient way when she found out that my H1-b visa was going to expire soon and I had some p...roblem to renew it. They tried their best to submit my application 3 months before the expiration date of my visa so that I could obtain the employment authorization. Thanks so much for their professional and efficient work, I got my green card two and a half months later. My experience of working with Ellen and Daphne is great. They are very reliable and I highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking legal assistance for immigration.

highly competent

We filed a successful immigration petition (EB-1) with Ellen. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to Ellen for her help with our immigration case. Before meeting Ellen, for two years I had been searching for a competent attorney who could help us file our immigration petition. I came in c...ontact with two attorneys. Although both of these attorneys explained us the process of petition filing, the process apparently seemed quite complicated and longer than anticipated. To be honest, these meetings didn’t yield much that left us unsatisfied and distracted with our concerns about the petition filing. Fortunately, couple of months after the above mentioned failed attempts I heard about Ellen from one of my friends who had a successful immigration petition filing experience with her. During my first meeting itself, Ellen provided me with her honest and expert opinion on our immigration case. Ellen diligently explained the petition process on how to proceed with arranging the required documents, format/content of recommendation/support letters, time-frame in arranging the documents, and the case filing. Believe it or not, after meeting with Ellen, the process appeared much simpler and understandable. She disintegrated the complicated process into the easy steps. We felt immensely enthusiastic and positive about filing the petition with Ellen. Following her expert guidance we were able to complete the paper work involved with these steps in timely fashion. Soon we started realizing that we were working with an expert who possesses profound knowledge on the subject and is well-versed. With things progressing along we started developing a feel of safety and assurance of our case. She elegantly handled our case with full responsibility while maintaining the confidentiality of our information and providing us the solutions of all the concerns that we had during the process. Few months after filing the case we received our petition approval notices well within the time as she had anticipated. A lot credit goes to Ellen. Thanks to her expertise. I have had a wonderful experience working with Ellen. Ellen is competent and outstanding attorney who understands the objectives of the case. She is one of the leading experts who have a good reputation in the field. I believe she has a bright future in the legal world. I recommend Ellen to anyone seeking help and support on immigration matters.
