Biography
I have extensive experience in many areas of law. I have been in private practice since 1993, serving and solving problems for individuals and small businesses throughout Massachusetts. I have represented clients in wide variety of areas but now concentrate in the areas of real estate (including buyers, sellers, title examinations and closings), estate planning and elder law (including wills and trusts), and probate administration of estates.
I am a graduate of Brandeis University (B.A., with honors) and Emory University School of Law (J.D., 1993). I was admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1993 and the U.S. District Court (D. Mass.) in 1994.
I am a member of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., and the Norfolk & Plymouth Estate & Business Planning Council. I served on its Board of Directors for a number of years, including as President in 2004-2005.
I have also served as a board member of community and civic groups, including the MetroSouth Chamber of Commerce, the Brockton 21st Century Corporation and the Sharon Soccer Association. I am currently a member of the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce.
