An Empathetic and Caring Fighter

Joan Canavan represented me and my nephew in a high conflict custody case. She was positive, honest, pragmatic, and tough. She helped me to try several strategies that helped me to work with the opposing side despite their tactics. My situation was difficult because I did not have the evidence nec...essary to support my case. However, Attorney Canavan helped me to prepare for hearings as best as I could and to withstand the arguments from the opposing counsel. She helped me to stand up for myself and my nephew. She empathized with my situation and she helped me to fight. I will be forever grateful.

attorney review

Attorney Canavan represented me in a court case with my ex husband this past year. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Attorney Canavan listened to my concerns and worked with me to get the result that was best for myself and my children. She responded to all of my voicemails in a timely man...ner. I felt well represented and was happy with the outcome of the case,

Professional, Experinced, Empathetic,

I always felt that I was in good hands with Joan, she was informative, patient and very understanding. At one point in time of our several visits in court we didn't win however I appreciated all the work effort and heart she put into my case.

Exceptional Attorney!

Joan handled my recent divorce and cannot express my gratitude for all her work she did for me, from day one she was kind and compassionate to my situation. Joan took the time to explain the process in depth to me so I was well prepared and always kept me informed. Joan's calm demeanor and experien...ce handling divorce was a major factor in always moving forward for a resolution for both parties involved. Phone calls and emails were always returned and papers were always filed on time with the courts and opposing attorney. Professionalism at it's best and highly recommend Joan!

Highly recommend Joan!

Joan handled my divorce two years ago. She was sensitive and compassionate and was always responsive to my calls and emails to answer any questions that I had. I know that she worked very hard to keep the negotiations with the opposing attorney courteous and respectful. I am grateful that I had Jo...an by my side as I went through that difficult process.
