I was referred to this attorney by another attorney I trusted, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. At first, he seemed professional, but by our second meeting he crossed personal boundaries in a way that left me feeling uncomfortable. Instead of advocating for me, he repeat...edly dismissed my concerns and suggested I should give up far more than I agreed to in negotiations. He even told me he couldn’t pursue what I wanted because “my family hates me”. He spoke to me in a raised voice so often I finally asked why he was yelling at me. His response was “I haven’t seen yelling if I think that’s yelling” When I brought up sentimental items I hoped to keep, he told me flatly that he didn’t care who gave them to me. In a matter that already involved family conflict and grief, I expected compassion and strong advocacy but received neither. I wish I never hired him. I walked away more stressed and then when I started.
