Biography
Weeks after joining Ballin & Associates in 2013, Attorney Jared Ballin second-chaired a four week trial that resulted in a verdict for a police officer who was shot by a homeowner while responding to a false home alarm. Along with all the attorneys at Ballin & Associates, Attorney Jared Ballin specializes in representing public safety officers against at-fault parties who cause their injuries-on-duty. Attorney Ballin also serves as Editor for his firm's Newsletter, which features case-study articles from real cases handled by Ballin & Associates and reaches thousands of subscribers.
Attorney Ballin attended Roger Williams School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. He clerked for The Law Offices of Deborah G. Kohl and served as a Judicial Intern at the Worcester and Middlesex Superior Courts, drafting opinions for Hon. Dennis J. Curran. Attorney Ballin’s work was recognized in November, 2012, when he was honored by the Massachusetts Judges Conference.
Attorney Ballin graduated from Emerson College cum laude with a B.A. in Media Production. While at Emerson, he produced an original television show for his school’s cable network and was honored with Emerson's Outstanding Writing for a Drama award for his original film script.
In his spare time Attorney Ballin enjoys rock climbing, golf, real estate investment, and the company of his wife and dogs.
