Biography
Helping people navigate difficult legal challenges and get the most just results possible is Attorney Michael Thaler’s passion.
A former Assistant District Attorney (ADA) in private practice since 2016, Attorney Thaler applies a wealth of courtroom experience to representing clients throughout the Commonwealth in the District, Superior and Probate and Family Courts. His principal areas of focus are criminal defense and family law.
His experience as a trial attorney spans all manner of legal issues that arise from the onset of an investigation to a matter’s conclusion via a resolution or a trial. As an ADA, Attorney Thaler prosecuted well over one thousand cases, including hundreds of motions and over one hundred trials to verdict in the Norfolk County District Courts and more than ten felony trials in the Superior Court.
A native of the Boston area, Attorney Thaler holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.A. from Duke University. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Federal District of Massachusetts.
