I hired John when I had an unjust criminal charge lodged against me that was minor, yet could have major consequences for my career. As I didn't have any personal referrals I intended to speak with several attorneys and then decide to hire; however asking speaking with John for a few minutes, I could... tell that he knew what he was doing and hired him right away. John got a very good disposition for my case, but what made the difference for me was that I felt very confident that I had hired someone who was experienced, knew the players involved, and told me what to expect. The experience could have been very anxiety-provoking, but wasn't thanks to John's professionalism and skill. I would absolutely recommend John as someone who is very experienced with both the law and the local 'lay of the land', which is often just as important. Thanks to him, the experience was just another bump in the road instead of the major setback it could have been.

Attorney DeVito represented my son for "driving negligently" "driving with a suspended license" and other criminal traffic violations and in all matters he defended my son and won all matters. I hired Attorney John DeVito to defend a family member. He finds legal loop holes to benefit his clients. When the prosecution thinks they have an easy win and all evidence points against the defendant, Attorney DeVito finds a way to have his client come out victorious. In two separate larceny cas...es against a family member of mine, Attorney DeVito negotiated the DA to drop charges and have a continuance without a finding. These cases were not related. The evidence was not favorable for my family member and could have done prison time but Attorney DeVito's legal ethics and professionalism is respected by the District Attorneys, Police Officers and Judges. Thank God we hired John DeVito for this defense. It is because of Attorney DeVito's reputation that the parties were able to enter into negotiation.

Someone had used my information during a traffic stop back in 1996. I found out about it in Jan 2015 and that there was a warrant for my arrest. I had no idea where to turn. I am a parent who has a son who got himself in some serious trouble. I had no knowledge of where to being so I began my search and on a friend's referral I found John. It is a hard and painful position to place the life of your child (even adult child) in the hands of someone who knows nothing about ...you and can only go based of what the attorney is told by you and the facts of the case. I felt at ease with John. Although I wish I never needed John for the reasons I did, I am glad I found him. I feel without him my son would have faced a much harsher outcome. He was their for my son every step of the way, not an assistant but JOHN himself, which for me and my husband gave us a sense of security and that he wanted the best for my son. If you ever are need of an attorney please look up John. I have never ever written a review before, but felt John was worth the few minutes it took from my day to type one.
