Biography
Jim is the Chief Title Counsel at Ligris. He evaluates and provides curative advice on a wide variety of commercial and residential real estate title matters. Jim is also the primary legal contact to the firm’s national title insurance underwriters. In addition, Jim has extensive experience in representing buyers, sellers, and lenders in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Jim is also the director of education for new associates. He organizes seminars/webinars and provides written material regarding title analysis and resolution.
Jim lives in the Boston area, where he enjoys an active life outside of his legal practice. When not spending time with family, Jim can be found traveling. From camping in the White Mountains to exploring the old cities of Europe, Jim can be found sampling local cuisine and culture. A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Jim enjoys attending concerts, sporting events and sampling the wide variety of restaurants Boston has to offer.
