Excellent, knowledgeable attorney!

We hired Robert to draft an estate plan for us and to set up a trust. Robert was responsive to our requests, and completed a draft for us in just over a week. Contrary to the prior reviewer, Robert was always punctual and returned our calls and emails right away, and his staff was always available to... take field questions as well. Overall, Robert was very accommodating, and he delivered exactly what we needed. Robert is very easy to work with, and extremely professional. I would highly recommend as an estate planning attorney.

Terrible Communication, Never Completed Job

I hired Robert to prepare a set of estate planning documents for me as well as set up a trust. He was responsive to our request for a consultation and met us twice in two weeks to get all of our information and down payment. He said he'd have drafts for us soon. After a month I emailed him asking ...for an update. He promised the documents in a week. Nothing. Another email. Then a week after that, the drafts were done. We took our time going over them, then sent them back with questions. Almost three months pass with zero communication, so we sent another email. He said he'd have the documents for us in a week. Another three months pass with no communication, so we send another email. He sends us a document, so we review it and shoot it back with questions. Three weeks pass with no communication from him. I'd had it at that point, so I fired him. Long story short, he has terrible communication skills and takes ages to get anything done. Don't use him.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
