Robert A. Murray

Unlike many lawyers that entered college after high school and then went on to Law School directly from college, Robert A. Murray, prior to becoming an attorney in 1989, had worked a wide range of jobs allowing him knowledge and experience to draw upon that go well beyond a legal education. His background includes experience as a tree climber and construction worker and in addition he worked the wharfs in Gloucester as a warehouseman, unloading fish. For many years he worked as a Federally Licensed Captain of 100 Ton passenger vessels for 7 Seas Whale Watch, which sails out of Gloucester. He has worked as a diver and as an assistant fabricator in machine environments. An avid boater with a passion for saltwater fishing and freshwater fly fishing he lives and has raised his family in Rockport, Massachusetts.
