Joseph Michael Orlando Jr.

Joseph Orlando, originally from Gloucester, initiated his academic pursuit at Virginia Wesleyan College under a Leadership Scholarship before transferring to Endicott College, where he completed a bachelor's degree in Law & Government with the distinction of a Presidential Scholarship. He advanced to earn his Juris Doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Law in 2010, actively participating in the Student Bar Association. Joe’s early career saw him clerking at Essex County District Court and interning with the Gloucester Police Department, experiences that bolstered his legal acumen. He is admitted to practice in several distinguished courts, including the Connecticut and Massachusetts Supreme Courts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court, with a practice area focused on maritime and personal injury law. Joe skillfully manages cases within both Federal and State Courts. Beyond his legal career, he is a dedicated community member, serving on the boards of Everyday Heroes and Gloucester Little League, and previously holding elected positions on the Gloucester City Council and the Hamilton planning board. His professional memberships, notably in the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, illustrate his dedication to both the legal profession and his community.
