David J. Coughlin

Attorney David Coughlin is passionate about helping business and the people in them succeed. He leverages his 20+ years of business experience in roles from corporate business development/sales, marketing, and general management with P&L responsibilities.

Mr. Coughlin earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Illinois State University in 1990 with a double major in Marketing and Criminal Justice. He earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, Evening Division in 2007. Mr. Coughlin focused on Business Transactions and Intellectual Property. 

In a recent role, Mr. Coughlin served as the Senior Corporate Counsel, Contracts/Risk Manager of four technology subsidiaries of G4S, a multinational publicly traded company and the world’s largest security services organization with over 625,000 employees. At G4S, Attorney Coughlin handled employment law issues, technology and intellectual property protection, corporate governance, litigation management, and other day-to-day issues that impacted technology businesses.

Given his diverse experience, Attorney Coughlin is often called upon to provide consultation and other services to emerging/start-up companies.
