I have been divorced for several years, but soon found myself in a legal battle again. This time, custody of my children who I adore was trying to be taken away for me. My previous lawyer, who I thought was excellent, was no longer practicing. I was recommended to Jamie James through a friend who ...had worked with her. During my initial consult, I could tell she was professional, experienced, very knowledgeable, and really seemed to care about her clients. As my battle progressed over a year and a half, I came to realize that Jamie becomes a friend. In fact, she became like my big sister looking out for me. I walked into Jamie's law office just about a year ago. Looking like and feeling like a deer in the headlights. I literally didn't know which end was up. My divorce had taken me by surprise, I had been married for 23 years -and apparently oblivious to . We "won" ( Nobody really wins anything in a divorce) all of the important matters. Don't get me wrong we took some hits as well but they turned out to be fairly minor in terms of importance. I feel incredibly fortunate to have Jamie James representing me. I have the utmost confidence that she and Nick and Nichole have my back. It also doesn't hurt that they are all incredibly likable people. If I had to do this all over again ( i pray I never have to) I would choose Jamie in an instant.

Jamie and her team did an exceptional job with my divorce/contempt case. Jamie was available most of the time and offered good advice. Her court room strategies proved to be the difference in my contempt case. She was thorough and left the defense attorney speechless. Jamie handles herself profession...ally and is very caring about all aspects of the case, she adds that personal touch which showed me she was listening and actually cared about all of the people impacted by my case. Jamie - thank you! Your assistance in my case was a godsend! I was unjustly accused of sexual touching a child and in this day and age, being accused is almost as bad as being found guilty. I dont even know where to start... I walked into Jamie's office 5 months ago, scared, apprehensive, and most of all in serious need of legal guidance. I have been dealing with an ongoing custody and visitation case for my 3 year old son since 2012. I fought month after month, year after year in proba...te court to increase my time with my son and ensure that he would grow up with his father in his life. My son's mother did not make this an easy battle. To add to the fire, I received a letter from a lawyer that stated that my son's mother wanted to relocate my son, which would significantly decrease my time spent with him.
