I hired attorney Celine for my nephew's case in January 2020, where he was detained by immigration (he was in prison!). All we needed Celine to do, is to apply for bond and release my nephew from prison to continue his case outside prison, although we hired her for a simple request, Celine has faile...d in all aspects in this case and achieved nothing. We wasted several thousands in fees for her, time, and my nephew stayed 14 months in prison because of her performance. 1. Although she had plenty of time, she never prepare enough for the case. 2. She never give enough thoughts for the case. 3. Although the case is simple and the request from the court is simple, she failed to achieve anything from the court. 4. My nephew is sick and we had all the medical reports submitted to her, she failed to use any of these evidences to help the case. 5. She was never prepared, she was always asking us questions that she has already the answers in the documents I provided to her. She even asked me questions inside the court or minutes before the court. I do not mind questions, however she was asking questions like where my nephew works? or what hospital was he in? all these info are part of the provided documents and forms. This is an evidence that she never look the documents carefully. 6. I attended the court with her. She absolutely failed in addressing any of the judge questions professionally. Her behavior was week in the court, which showed to the judge that Celine’s position on the case is also week. 7. She arrives late to the court. 8. She did not respond to our communications, and all the sudden she would ask for lots of documents in the last day.
