Stacey Gross Marmor

Attorney Marmor has spent her twenty-three-year career representing people accused of crimes in both the trial and appellate courts of Massachusetts. Attorney Marmor was born and raised in Massachusetts. She attended Clark University and Case Western Reserve University Law School. Upon graduating law school, Attorney Marmor took a position with Clayman and Dodge, LLC., where her practice focused on criminal defense. In 2005, Attorney Marmor continued with her criminal defense focused practice when she opened her own law firm. 

Throughout Attorney Marmor's twenty-three-year career as a criminal defense attorney she has successfully, day in and day out, argued her perspective to the court. She has handled cases in the District Court such as operating under the influence, domestic assault and battery, larceny, shoplifting, and drug distribution. To more complex matters in the Superior Court where she has dealt with such cases as drug trafficking, rape, mayhem, manslaughter, armed robbery, armed larceny, and assault with intent to murder. 

In the District and Superior Courts of Massachusetts, Attorney Marmor's representation of clients generally begins at arraignment and often culminates with either a bench or jury trial. Attorney Marmor zealously represents her clients at every stage of the court proceedings and, on behalf of her clients, routinely files and argues discovery motions, motions to dismiss, and motions to suppress.  In the trial court, Attorney Marmor will regularly represent clients charged with violating probation treating these cases with the same care and precision she would if her client were charged with a new offense.  

In addition to Attorney Marmor's extensive trial experience, she is also a skilled appellate attorney.  During the last twelve years Attorney Marmor has regularly practiced in the Massachusetts Appellate Courts.  Attorney Marmor successfully overturned an aggravated rape conviction before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. She has also successfully overturned convictions including rape and drug distribution before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.   

Attorney Marmor's extensive experience handling a wide range of criminal matters in the trial court combined with her vast knowledge of the criminal law, gleaned from her appellate practice, provides her clients with a very powerful "one-two punch." Communication with her clients is of the utmost importance to Attorney Marmor. She prides herself on regularly meeting and working with each client to provide a client centered defense strategy at all times.
