I have a policy for Long-Term Health Care Benefits with a major company that I took out 15 years ago. This past year when I filed a claim they approved some of the claims but denied others. George Thompson was a great lawyer for me in helping my get back on my LTD insurance. That's right, on three separate occasions I was kicked off of my LTD insurance...the first, because they seemingly kick off everyone after a year or two and see if they can win an appeal; the second, because an incompetent assistant to my specialist incorrectly filled out the forms from the insurance company; and the third time, because my company tried to kick me off because they thought I could work enough even though they knew I couldn't work FT.
