Alicia M. O'Connell

I joined O’Connell & O’Connell, P.C. in 2010. I specialize in estate planning, the administration of estates, real estate conveyancing, and elder law. 

Prior to joining the firm, I worked as an executive compensation and employee benefits associate in New York, New York. Before attending law school, I worked in the non-profit sector in Washington, D.C. at national organizations focusing on women’s issues. 

I was recognized as a 40 Under Forty honoree by the Worcester Business Journal in 2014, and as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. I speak frequently on the attorney’s role in real estate transactions to first-time homebuyers.

I am admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and am a member of the Worcester County Bar Association.

I am a member of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce. I am Board President at Girls Inc. of Worcester, Clerk of the Board of Trustees at Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School, and Director of the Millbury Federal Credit Union. I feel a strong connection to my community and am an active volunteer in women’s and youth organizations in Worcester County.

I am a graduate of Bowdoin College (B.A., Women’s Studies and English) and New York Law School (J.D., magna cum laude), where I was Articles Editor of the New York Law School Law Review and a John Harlan Marshall Scholar.
