Alan David Hoch

My background is primarily in litigation, consitsting of contract litigation, insurance law, real estate litigation, personal injury, consumer protection, libel and slander, professional malpractice claims (both plaintiff and defendant), and the mediation or arbitration of those claims.  I have also represented clients in anti-SLAPP litigation, abuse of process, malicious prosecution, 258E claims and defenses, land use, civil rights law, and appeals involving a number of the above practice areas.  I spent almost 20 years at several firms in Boston, including Craig & Macauley, Burns & Levinson, and Donovan Hatem, I was an associate at Craig & Macauley, a partner at Burns and Levinson, and a founding partner at Donovan Hatem.  In 2006 I went out out on my own and have represented a large client base at my own practice since then.  My firm offers you the experience and skill of Boston counsel but at a more competitive price.  I also offer my clients extra personal touches only a firm dedicated to personal service can provide, such as weekend/holiday calls and appointments, meetings on holidays if needed, cell phone access- whatever it takes to communicate for me to effectively with you, the client.
