Attorney Michael J. Chernick is a 1975 graduate of Classical High School in Springfield Massachusetts, a 1980 graduate of Northeastern University and a 1983 graduate of Suffolk University Law School. He has sat on numerous community service boards including Springfield Boys & Girls Club, and is a past President of his religious institution. He is an accomplished trial lawyer who spent over 4 years as an Assistant District Attorney before starting his own firm.

Attorney Chernick who has worked for 29 years in private practice and his office has handled thousands of cases for people just like you. Having practiced the law in both private and public practice, he has unique experience and understanding of our legal system. In addition to his exceptional experience and reputation, he has been appointed a Public Administrator by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This means he’s authorized to handle probate and estate matters in the absence of a will or local heirs. Attorney Chernick has litigated, tried, arbitrated or mediated hundreds of cases  to resolution over his career appearing regularly in all courts and at the Department of Industrial Accidents (DIA)
