Never hire her!

If I could rate this lawyer lower, I would. Kept on asking for money, even though contract was fulfilled. Then moved out of state without saying anything to me and took files and personal information that was to be returned to me with her. Very unreliable and unprofessional. Never followed up wit...h other attorney and I had to represent myself on part of the case after paying her. Per contract was to receive monthly statement of what I was being charged for the case and never received it. Never received any copies of any correspondence between herself and the other attorney. Makes me believe she took my money and ran to a different state with it. Never hire this person to represent you as she has an excuse for everything.

Unprofessional, Untrustworthy and Uncaring Attorney

Unreliable, moody, ratnings and outbursts. Forgets, doesn't follow through. Quit after promising not to. Took case knowing financal issues and agreed to them.Court ordered her to continue representing client and she has not done so.She has not contacted nor returned repeated calls and after an emerge...ncy in case concerning a child she did not respond.Client made appt for the next day and when he arrived, she went missing.Receptionist couldn't find her after her being in the office all morning. She finally was called back by this attorney and she told her she was out of town after her being in the office just before clients arrival. She has not followed through and missed important issues. She has exaggerated her expenses and hasn't shown documentation of her actions in the case. Made personal attacks on client and his family. She said unprofessional and inappropriate statements to client and his family.

Reprimand/Probation issued in MN, 2003

updated on 02/21/2010

Reprimand/probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State gives the lawyer a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. The State also monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
