Humberto Cobo Estrella began studies in Political Science in the University of Central Florida. During this time he became a member of the Student Council, was appointed Cultural Affairs Director. While attending college he was a representative of the Interfraternity Judicial Council and became a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He served as regional director for the state’s “Sunshine Count 2000” initiative and served as President of the National Society of Hispanic M.B.A.’s Orlando chapter. Mr. Cobo later relocated to Puerto Rico and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He graduated as Student Council President and was later chosen for a prestigious Commonwealth’s Legislative Internship program. He earned his Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico’s School of Law, where he was awarded the Microjuris Medal of Honor. He was a Member of the Law Review and of the Student Council. He joined the Federal Civil Rights clinic and served as Law Clerk for the Commonwealth’s prominent Appellate Court. Mr. Cobo eventually served as legislative Law Clerk for the Employment and Labor Relations Commission for the Commonwealth’s House of Representatives and later served briefly as legislative aide to the Commonwealth’s Senate as well. He is the author of the first local publication on Cyber law, in addition to authoring other legal publications.

Mr. Cobo is a Member of the Puerto Rico bar and the Federal District Court Bar.
