I represent commercial debtors and all types of creditors in all types of chapter 11 cases in all 50 states. This includes analysis of alternatives, preparing and filing cases and debtor in possession representation. For creditors, I protect and litigate their claims if needed. Past cases have involved agriculture, manufacturing, retail, forest products, fishing, technology, real estate development and gaming. I work with both borrowers and lenders in negotiating and documenting out of court debt restructuring agreements, documenting and enforcing UCC and other statutory rights and other workout arrangements. This also includes analysis of existing agreements and options for resolution, documenting new agreements and negotating consensual surrender of collateral in full or partial satisfaction of debt.

I represent both debtors and creditors in commercial litigation related to collection of past due amounts and enforcement of creditor rights. Through our firm's offices in Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, Illinois, Wisconsin and Washington D.C., we can assist clients in all of these jurisdictions.

I advise companies on financial and management issues related to insolvency and debt management. including how to deal with customers or vendors who are insolvent. I also assist companies wishing to purchase assets from bankruptcy estates, receiverships and other financially troubled or insolvent sellers.
