Biography
Since the early 1980's I have been a vigorous and effective defender of the rights of the accused. I have received honors for my work in the courtroom and for my contributions to the system. I am an active member of the Criminal Defense Bar, both locally and statewide. Locally I am a past president of the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar Association and the San Diego Criminal Defense Lawyers Club. Statewide I am a member of the Board of Governors of California Attorneys for Criminal Justice. I am a solo practitioner and so I take fewer cases to insure that I have the time necessary to devote to each and every client.
I am currently listed in Best Lawyers in America (Woodward and White) and have been named a "Superlawyer" by various publications.
