    Your recourse options would depend on when the offer was made; whether the job offer was written or oral; whether it included notices of contingencies like credit checks; and whether you knew the employer was going to perform a credit check. If those questions are resolved in your favor, you could have some recourse. I would recommend contacting an attorney and providing them with additional information to see if you have a claim.
