If you sell tickets, as an individual, for chances to win your motorcycle, you're in violation of Official Code of Georgia Annotated (OCGA) sec. 16-12-21, a misdemeanor that carries a maximum sentence of 12 months' incarceration and a $1000 fine. Non-profit organizations and the like are exempt from the general prohibition "gambling" in certain respects by OCGA 16-12-22.1. Besides these pitfalls, your raffle might run afoul of any number of local ordinances in your community. So don't do it!
