Sooooooooo I got a DUI. It sucked. Like Really Really sucked. I felt pretty sober but had to spend a night in jail. (that was a first for me). Two days later you get flooded by advertisements for attorneys. Many of these advertisements make this situation seem like the insurmountable toughest adversity you will have in your life. It can be quite intimidating. The first thing you do is try to figure out your situation and talk to anyone that has gone through the process. The next thing you realize is EVERYONE has a different story and take on how things will play out for you. After a few days of trying to figure this thing out (and I am well educated) I realized that this was going to be over my head and there was just too much to know. I proceeded to research top attorneys with this specialty and interview three of them.
After my interviews it was painfully obvious Amy was going to be the attorney for me. She answered my 1,00,000 questions and always got back to me within 24 hours. She was great to work with and I imagine she is great for the opposition to work with as well. (this is probably an important variable).
She was able to plea my case to the best possible outcome in my estimation. I know this because there were people in the mandatory education classes that you (the reader) may soon learn about that had lesser Blood Alcohol levels with a far worse penalty. Most realistic best case scenario the end result that you are looking for and that is what I got.
Moreover were the insights and knowledge she was able to help me with that I would never have known about IE (how to request your suspension to start a certain time that is most convenient, the process of getting your licensee back, how to navigate the DMV hearing, how to find a certified DUI education class, etc etc etc.
The law is the law in the end but to have an attorney that is sensitive to your anxiety over this situation and has the experience to give you sound advice and guidance is HUGE. I can't imagine anyone could have handled my situation and my personality better than Amy did. She was worth her fee to say the least.

Without a doubt Amy has exceeded my expectations. The DUI process can be a long, frustrating, and confusing process. Amy was there to answer ALL and I mean ALL of my questions. She will always get back to you in a timely manner, available by phone or email.
This was my second DUI and I thought my life was officially over. I talked to at least 5 DUI lawyers and then I found Amy. After talking to Amy on the phone I pretty much hired her on the spot. She listened to me and clearly explained everything. My case did have some complexities and Amy never gave me false hopes about what I could be charged with. My charges were significantly reduced and I never lost my license.
Even now, my case is over and little questions pop up. I know I can email or call Amy just to ask or confirm a question and she will always be happy to help. If you are questioning whether or not you need a lawyer for this situation, hands down this was the best money I ever spent.

I cannot speak highly enough about Amy Morrel and how well she handled my DUI case. She always had time to speak with me and was never rushed during our meetings. She explained everything in great detail, answered every question, and gave me the peace of mind that if there could be a positive result in my case that she had the strategy that could win.
Her and her staff kept me up to date throughout the 5 month long process. I turned the whole thing over to her and went about my life.
I should note that I have never met Amy in person. I found her law firm through a web search. We had meetings over the phone and communicated via postal mail and email.
I did win my DMV hearing. But I would have made these comments regardless. She is an excellent attorney in my opinion and very up to date on current DUI case law.
Thank you Amy and I hope to never have to call you again!

Honestly, navigating the dual legal systems of the courts and DMV is a nightmarish challenge fraught with complexity, and if you end up in this situation, your nerves are frayed and you can't focus from the outset.
I spoke with about 5-6 "DUI attorneys" before settling on Amy, and it's been a brilliant decision. She provided me with 3 times the information that any of the other lawyers did, never tried to condescendingly speak to me, or offer artificial fees or unwarranted hopes.
She is a consummate professional and got me an arrangement that surpassed my expectations, given the grim situation.
Moreover, she is enormously responsive, even long long after my formal fees were paid. Always, random questions will pop up, and I remain astounded that Amy finds the time for me.
Finding a DUI lawyer is a multi-year investment. You'll make a great one if you choose Amy.

Had a DUI and contacted this lawyer. At court I have to be with a group of her clients(3) and judge started blah blah. I paid 3 times that usually lawyers charge for DUI . I lost license 2 times(Court and DUI) and she doesn't have any clue. In DUI Classes I came to know that guys who are having BAC more than that I have could get wet reckless . Also could get less community service( 2 days where I had 5 days) . This attorney is useless as I could have got same or less If I feel guilty infront of the judge.
Don't use this lawyer at all as she is just useless

If you are reading this review you are probably in the position I was this past summer. A horrible event just happened to you and you wish you could turn back time. You keep talking to yourself saying "if only I didn't take that route home/ if only I was 5 min later I would have missed that cop". The next day after you got out of jail, you go home and take a 60 min shower to scrub the jail cell and "shame" you were feeling. After it sets in, you went online to see what you should do next. Do you listen to the cops? They told you not to fight it.. Do you listen to others who this happened to?
Many people tell you not to waste your money on a lawyer; it will be the same outcome; you will be out thousands of dollars. I heard a lot of people who were just bitter.
I made the decision to research and found Amy Morell’s website.
She contacted me back within 12 hours. We reviewed my case and she listened intently. From the first day, she asked what my expectations were and then always strived for the best possible outcome. That is what I appreciate about Amy. She will always make herself available to you. She of course has other clients but her and her awesome assistant Stephanie will always schedule you in as quickly as possible. With every interaction and court date, Amy kept me informed and advised me on the best possible outcome. You can “Google” every scenario and “angle” for your defense and I am willing to bet Amy knows about and has had experience with it. Trust me…I spent days researching, you can’t throw anything at Amy that she hasn’t heard of. I did all of this to protect my future so I could move on with my life, and not repeat the past.
Amy will help you with the best possible outcome and protect your future.
I will be using her for my expungement as well.
Stephanie her assistant is awesome as well. She will keep you organized and informed of everything.

Amy literally saved my life! I had a super hairy DUI case, that involved several rarities, and throughout the whole process, Amy was upfront and honest with me, kept me informed, and got 4 counts reduced to only 1. I cannot say enough good things about her. I would recommend her at a heart beat to anyone. This is the best money I have spent on legal services.

Amy Morell was fantastic! This was a very scary and confusing time for me, and from the minute I first met with Amy, she made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was very knowledgeable and her paralegal Stephanie always responded in a timely manner and was very friendly also, just like Amy. I have no hesitation recomminding Amy to anyone caught in this scary and confusing time.

When I was charged with DUI, I researched the area and decided go with Amy after talking to her on phone. She responded almost right away, although it was a holiday. She listen to the whole story and gave me a very detailed plan and possible outcome of the situation. With her help, DMV charge was dismissed and DUI charge was reduced to wet reckless with minimum period school. I strongly recommend her.

This is my experience with this lawyer. Others might have had a better experience. I came to her with a case of 0.09 BAC level after the substitute judge advised me to get one since my BAC level was too law and I have to prior. She was responsive when first contacted. Specifically before I made the complete lawyer fees payment (required). She asked me in which department my case was held and said she knows the DA and they share the same first name. Needless to say that was not the case. So after 2K spent and months of reassurance form her, I am still facing a first DUI charge. Her only advice is to pay so that we can fight it in trial. Got advice from 3rd party not to do that because it will be waste of money
