I was being sued. Tried handling my case on my own. Nick took over and coordinated discovery (took depos which really embarrassed plaintiffs). We took the matter to trial. On the eve of trial we offered plaintiffs $50,000.00 to settle; their demand was $250,000.00. After a week of trial, the jur...y came back with an award for plaintiffs of only $7000.00!! Although technically a loss, Nick mopped the court with plaintiffs and we came out ahead. Several jurors asked for Nick's card in my presence.

In 2003, at the suggestion of a family friend, my 80+ year old mother hired him to prepare a Living Trust document, as she was a widow and realized that it was time to take charge of her few assets. She is now 92 and in a care facility and it is time to put the Durable Power of Attorney and the Tr...ust into action. Unfortunately, pages of the DPOA are missing and I need to know what was covered on these missing pages. I have had another lawyer look at the Trust Agreement and he has commented that it should have had addtional language inserted. The comment was also made that is was "amateurish". At the time, it took several proofs of the document before it was finalized, as my mother's name was misspelled in several places. I have called several times and left messages but I have not received a return call. It is time to move on with a new lawyer.
