For 25 years I have handled approximately 1000 legal malpractice cases. The first ten years I was working for legal malpractice insurers and defending lawyers as a partner co-founder of the San Diego office of California's now 4th largest law firm, then for 8 years as one of the few full-time law professors (Tulane, USD, Santa Clara, Stetson, Thomas Jefferson) specializing in legal malpractice/ethics and at the same time for the last 15 years as a plaintiff lawyer who sues lawyers.
