When my family and I first met Mr. Hankins we thought he was competent and was going to be a decent attorney. As the case dragged on and on for two years we started to realize we made a bad choice in hiring this attorney. He made promises that he could not keep. He said he was going to do this and th...at but would never follow through. He was supposed to put in a breach of contract suit for the party we were in the law suit against since they would not follow through with the agreement, but never did. He kept on cutting more and more deals. Started making decisions before talking them over with us. A few times he would counsel us and told us we needed to do this and it would help our case. As soon as we followed his legal advice he called and said he made a terrible mistake and the advice he gave us was incorrect. He made plenty of rude comments and even mentioned he would rather defend the person we were in the law suit against due to the fact we were too honest. What kind of attorney is this we asked. Thought honesty was the best policy especially when it came to the Law. When the case was finally over he collected more money than we his client received. He even added an extra cost for the breach of contract suite that he never even filed and made a few extra thousand off that. This attorney just proves how we all feel about attorneys in general.
