I have extensive experience in transactional and litigation matters in a broad spectrum of business law issues, including: formation, startup, and growth stage businesses; general business representation, including commercial real estate, development, employment, and shareholder issues; and litigation, including general business litigation, insurance coverage, third party claims defense, and bankruptcy.

I have represented both regulated entities and regulators in a variety of transactional and litigation matters in environmental and land use law, including: zoning and planning application prosecution; zoning and planning litigation; environmental and land use permitting before state and federal agencies; enforcement litigation on behalf of regulated entities; and challenges to rule enactments before administrative, trial, and appellate courts.

I practice in estate planning, asset protection, wills, trusts, and probate practice. My practice includes: preparing estate planning and asset protection strategies involving trusts, business entities, and individual agreements; drafting of wills, trusts, general and limited powers of attorney, health care proxies/powers of attorney, and advance health care directives; and representing estates in probate.

I am admitted to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office. My practice includes transactional and litigation matters involving IP of all types, including: technology transfer, sales, and licensing of patents, trade secrets, and know-how, in both the private sector and with government and educational institutions; patent prosecution; trademark prosecution; trade secret counseling; patent, trademark, and copyright infringement litigation; and trade secret misappropriation.
