About Me

Eric J. Roth does appeals and civil litigation. He handles appeals from start to finish, including all brief writing and oral argument. At the trial court level, he primarily does brief writing, motion practice, and legal research for other attorneys as a freelance independent contractor. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. Types of cases he has handled vary widely and include personal injury, employment, civil rights, consumer protection, medical malpractice, product liability, real estate, and wrongful death matters. He is admitted in state and federal courts in Washington and Idaho and the 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

Before going solo, Eric practiced at two law firms that prepared him well to handle a variety of cases. At Lukins & Annis, his litigation practice included class actions, appeals, real estate, employment, commercial, contract, and personal injury matters. At Witherspoon Kelley, he practiced mainly employment and labor law, along with some work in securities, real estate, land use, and general business and corporate matters.
