I highly recommend that you hire an attorney that specializes in Medical malpractice. A doctor will need to review your records to see if the standard of care has been violated. Good luck!
Your issue appears to be somewhat diluted via internet. I would recommend you consult with an attorney.
I would definately recommend that you consult with a defamation attorney. In the meantime, you need to document the damages you are suffering as a result of the false reporting. Keep track of all the jobs you have been denied and housing that has been turned down, including names and/or statements of potential future witnesses. That information will be vital to proving that you have, in fact been harmed by the reporting. I know it may seem obvious that something of this nature would be...
The first place you will need to start is with your policy and the specific language about who is the "insured" and who is a "covered driver". If you have a policy that allows others to use your vehicle with permission that she would be covered as a permissible driver. However, many insurance companies are changing their language so coverage only extends to "named insureds". If the language is ambiguous there is likely coverage, but you would likely need an attorney. If your policy does...

DId your father have a will? I would recommend you consult with a local attorney. The attorney will need to know the specific details of the incident along with any additional information you can provide such as the existance of a will, life insurance policies, properties, pensions or retirement funds and whether or not there was a worker's compensation claim. Sorry to hear about the death of your father!

The real question is whether or not the defendant has reachable assets. In a normal situation, insurance companies handle the claims and all damages are paid by the insurance company. If the coverage for the at-fault driver is not sufficent, as mentioned by the other attorney answering this question above, you must notify you personal carrier before settling and proceeding with a under-insured motorist claim (if that coverage is available). You always have the option of filing a lawsuit,...
I agree that your best bet is to hire an attorney, but until you get an attorney on board I would make a couple of suggestions. First, don't let your frustration with lack of response from the school affect getting medical care for your child. When you finally get your claim set up, it will be important to show that you have been following through on the advice of the doctor and getting her the appropriate care. Next, most claims against schools are handled through a risk management office...
Some of this information can be obtained on line but there is usually a fee. If the order was entered in Washington State, go to Washington Courts website and do a name search. You should be able to find the case by name. If it is available on line, you can usually link to the order from that page. If not, I would recommend calling the Court Clerk for the County where the order was filed. Many counties will print out the order for you if you send the a self addressed stamped envelope with...
