If you intend to make a claim under your underinsured motorist coverage, you should do so sooner than later. Based on the facts you have relayed, you should contact an attorney immediately get guidance, at a minimum, and probably representation on the claim. Ideally, notice of the claim would occur prior to settlement of the liability case. Without more facts, it would be very difficult to put a value on the "settlement" that Boeing's counsel is proposing. I would need to know the issues and details, the proof, and the exact procedural posture of your case (ie. at the adminiistrative level, or at the Board of Ind. Ins. Appeals).
