My elderly, disabled client was unable to make her house payments because of the terrible terms of a predatory loan. We argued that becuase she rented rooms to students, she should be able to "cram down" the interest rate in bankruptcy. A reasonable rate would make the home affordable.

Well educated and accomplished client was buried in student loans from her Bachelor and Masters degrees. Brought suit against the Department of Education, arguing that her student loan burden was unreasonable, given her income expectations.
