I chose to work with John after a recommendation from a fellow CEO. John is incredibly responsive, thoughtful and trustworthy. He has guided us through a number of complex transactions including during a tumultuous phase for his prior firm. He is not beholden to any venture firm.
I made a mistake of choosing a less experienced attorney to save costs in a transaction. This cost us more than if we had used John.
If you are choosing counsel for your company, particularly a private technology firm, you can't go wrong using John.

John is an excellent lawyer, but more importantly is a great advisor. He brings great, pragmatic judgment to any transaction. He is very hard working and responsive, and cool under even the most difficult circumstances. He is also extremely well connected and good at leveraging his network for the benefit of his clients and friends. John is one of the very few lawyers who I would hire both for my company and for my own personal representation in an important transaction.
