I retained Ms. Robertson's services for a DUI after nearly deciding to represent myself in the matter due to having bad experiences with representation for all 4 of my priors. Because of these experiences, I was accustomed to being left in the dark by attorneys and represented with minimal effort and concern for the outcome. Andy not only let me know exactly what our situation was with updates whenever there was a development, but also genuinely cared about me as a client as opposed to looking at me like a dollar sign. From the beginning, she made sure I was aware of every single option I had and the potential outcomes for each choice I was presented with. She never instilled me with false confidence but carefully worked with me to determine the route we wanted to take in addressing the case while keeping my best interest as priority number one. As I mentioned, I had some prior offences (all but one of them being alcohol related) which means I was looking at some VERY serious long-term ramifications from this case. The arrest was handled extremely poorly so I knew from the beginning that there were obvious holes in the case but my record made it a definite uphill battle regardless of the details. Andy did everything in her power to make sure that we were presented with favorable court conditions and made a case for me with so much attention to detail that it could honestly be framed and passed off as art work. In the end, the case was dismissed which was obviously the best-case-scenario but I can say with 100% honesty that no matter what happened with the outcome, I was represented to the highest possible standard and am genuinely grateful for the work that was done on my behalf. I haven't had a drink since my incident (nearly 8 months) and I hope to put this part of my life behind me but if I or anyone I know needs an attorney in the future, Ms. Robertson will get my ringing endorsement and passionate recommendation every time.

As a photographer, I sometimes find myself in tense situations. On May 1st, 2012, I was arrested while taking photos for Real Change during an Anti-Police Brutality march in downtown Seattle. Andy represented me after I was charged with DUI and I cannot speak more highly of her abilities as an attorney. Words will never be enough to describe the respect and gratitude I have for Andy Robertson. My life was completely falling apart when I first met her after my 3rd DUI. Supurb! Best describes Andy Robertson! When our Minor Teenager was facing Count 1 Residential Burglary & Count 2 Theft in th Second Degree we were terrified. We knew nothing about Criminal Law only that these charges could be with our teenager forever. I was the alleged victim in a no contact order violation case. The original DV charge in Olympia was rightfully dropped but that didn’t change the erroneous violation charge or subsequent new No Contact Order issued by Seattle. Andy appeared with me to request dropping of the NCO. Not only had she worked extensively with the presiding Judge she and the Judge had both worked with the same Olympia prosecutor who dropped the initial charges. With her assistance the NCO was dropped. A week later all charges were dropped due to lack of evidence. I’ve no doubt that Andy’s help contributed enormously to this happy outcome. Andy and her assistant treated me with compassion and made me feel that my case, though fairly small, was as important to them as any.

Andrea represented me recently for a speeding ticket in a school zone. I felt I was innocent but didn't have a clue on how to defend myself besides just saying, "I didn't do it." Three years ago I received a second DUI and the prosecutor was out for blood and wanted to see several months in jail. This was obviously unacceptable to me. Therefore at the referral of my business attorney and another attorney that I work with I called Andrea Robertson to discuss my case. To make a long story short, my case was reduced to Negligent Driving I and I served no jail time (also Neg 1 does not appear on your driving record). In addition to this, as a business owner of several different companies, I more recently came across an issue with my probation and needing to have the probation lifted. Getting a DWI charge was one of the most terrifying and stressful experiences of my life; Andy helped to make my experience calm and well organized. I was referred to Andrea from a friend who knew her. I was scared as this was my first DUI and she was very comforting and straight forward. I went for my first meeting with her to see if she would take the case and she met with me for close to 2 hours, which really surprised me since time is money for a lawyer. I have a quite of history of DUIs. I went to court today and was amazed at the resulting outcome.
