I have first-hand, personal experience in matters of probate and non-probate estate settlement, assisted living and long term care placement, financial planning for long term care, and using powers of attorney for financial and health care matters. This has enhanced my ability to help clients navigate the requirements that financial institutions and health care facilities may impose in order to allow a family representative to make decisions or carry out their loved-ones wishes.
After many years of practice, first as a sole practitioner and later as an attorney with a downtown Seattle law firm, I am once again a sole practititioner. My practice is mobile. I meet with clients in their homes or mutually convenient locations, and do not charge for my travel time or mileage. This allows me to get a sense of my clients as members of the community, and it allows clients to relax in a familiar environment while addressing often unfamiliar issues.
In 2001 I added to my repetoire by returning to school and earning a Master of Arts degree in Museum Studies, which has enabled me to consult with and volunteer in various museums and non-profit institutions. When I am not volunteering or assisting clients, I may be skiing, outrigger canoeing, or gardening, depending on the season.

I endorse this lawyer. I have known Eden since she was a trust officer at Peoples Bank (now US Bank). Eden came to work with us in our Trust & Estate Department at Karr Tuttle Campbell leaving after serveral years for private practice. I work with Eden on matters from time to time and have always found her to be highly ethical, competent and a high degree of integrity. She is an excellent estate planner and probate attorney.
