I purposely AVOID any on-line presence, preferring instead that I be known by my reputation in my legal community. I DESPISE Avvo and its algorithm-generated ratings and REJECT the absurd conclusion that 35 years of solid criminal experience puts me at a "medium" level. Avvo knows absolutely NOTHING about me, and I intend to keep it that way. Moreover, I REFUSE to buy into their ridiculous pay-more-for-higher-ratings scam which Avvo is based upon, although they fraudulently deny it.
Avvo does a dis-service to the community of potential clients who foolishly believe that lawyers with elaborate websites and planted "client reviews" must know what the hell they're doing when it comes to practicing law. Be warned folks: there are a good many phony bullshitters practicing law, and Avvo makes an excellent platform for them to "legitimize" themselves, as far as superficial appearances are concerned.
