I am a member in our Portland office. I am an established trial lawyer specializing in complex litigation. I handle cases in the areas of real estate, shareholder disputes, officer/director litigation, employment, aviation, family law, and complex business litigation.

I represent various organizations and companies, including Floragon Forest Products, Timber Resources International, and the Oregon regional division of Advantage Sales & Marketing, a retail food brokerage company. I have over 20 years of experience in litigation. Recent significant litigation includes obtaining a multi-million dollar judgment against a telephone utility; obtaining a judgment against owners of a golf course resort for fraud; and obtaining a favorable judgment for my corporate client defending a million-dollar claim by a shareholder for oppressive conduct.

I also successfully defended a multi-million dollar action for breach of corporate merger agreement as well as having favorably settled claims of a corporation against managing officers for failure to perform duties. In addition, I have obtained awards by verdict or settlement for the wrongful death of an airplane passenger and an automobile driver and have favorably settled sexual harassment and discrimination claims against corporate employers.
