Jeffrey Galvin literally saved my life and my business. In 2001 I was meet with a politicized adverse action by the Federal Trade Commission. Imagine your a small company, less then $1M gross per year, and suddenly it is you .vs. the US Federal Government. I found myself in such a position. I had the great fortune to find Jeff Galvin who had actual hands on experience with my adversary. His vast knowledge not only of the agencies involved but also his ability to make direct contact with specific individuals in the government hierarchy led to what would have been my financial demise instead being settled for a very nominal sum.
... and that was only my first experience.
Years later in 2009 I had a dispute with FedEx. A few well placed communications between Jeff and FedEx resulted in a 15k savings for me at a cost of about 10 cents on the dollar in legal fees. That is my kind of return!
I keep a constant retainer with Downey Brand (Where Jeff Galvin "does his thing") as it is the best insurance a business person could have. Simply knowing that I can call upon Jeff and his vast resources (and personal skills) helps me sleep at night. I know if trouble pops up I have a legal gun with the fire power to actually help.
Feel free to ask Jeff for my name and phone number. He has my permission to provide it and I will share my experience in greater detail in a direct conversation.
Jeff is an excellent attorney and a superb advocate. He is efficient, accessible and creative. I am the General Counsel for a corporation. Jeff is my go to attorney on litigation matters. He has consistently delivered the most effective and efficient legal services.
Jeff Galvin of Downey Brand in Sacramento CA is well educated and speaks well one on one. In our case of debt collection of a promissory note well secured with a first lean on a $3m ranch, he totally failed. We found him to be naive, no streetsmarts, not a strategist, arrogant, self serving, distracted, poor judgement, no sense of power in mediation or negotiation, not talent with argument, a poor litigator, misrepresented us, and we would have sued him for malpractice and misrepresentation if we had the stamina and resources.
