    Under California law when they send a check to your attorney and send you a notification letter. Call them and see if they sent you a notification letter or sent the check to your attorney.

    You need to hire an attorney in Nevada. You could also write to the courthouse and see if the will has been lodge/filed. You can look online if that court house is on line.

    You might be able to go to the court house and get a copy. Otherwise get an attorney and file documents to become in charge of the estate

    Many states accept the judgment garnishment from any state. Some major banks have branches in every state. There is no simple way to determine the answer to your quest.
