    Alleged conduct: Client angry at wife pulls out a gun and won't let her leave the home while he yields the gun. Client also allegedly threatens and pushes wife down. There was an allegation of prior domestic violence between the two. Was able to show that spouse who was named victim was motivated to lie and perjure herself because she was cheating on my client and had violent tendencies herself. Client testified as well as character witnesses on behalf of client. Prosecuted by special prosecution unit and their lead counsel.

    Alleged conduct: Client allegedly got into a street fight with an older person who walking with a cane. Client allegedly took cane away from older person and hit him several times. Provided evidence in trial that complaining witness was a drug addicted person with a vendetta against my client.

    Description:
    Alleged conduct: Client planned the murder of his former boss. Execution of the plan included setting the home of former boss on fire knowing that boss was in the home sleeping around 2 a.m. Prosecuted by a seasoned career prosecutor. The jury ultimately decided the client was not guilty of the attempted murder. In full disclosure the jury believed that client acted maliciously when he set the fire and found him guilty of arson. No offer during the pre-trial or trial stage. Client was able to avoid life imprisonment and only suffered one felony conviction.

    Alleged conduct: DUI. Client driving car while under the influence of alcohol. Client driving car with a BAC of .08 or higher. Client pulled over, poor to fair on field sobriety tests. Blood test from laboratory .15. After filing motions to leverage our position in the negotiation was able to strike a deal that the client was looking for: Wet and Reckless with early probation termination after paying fines and going to Wet and Reckless school.

    Alleged conduct: Client breaks computer keyboard and then attacks spouse leaving marks on spouse. Alleged witness is step-son. Investigation turns up step-son with severe behavior problems with history of lying. Investigation also turns up evidence that my client was the victim of domestic violence by the person now claiming my client hurt them now. Client also had complex immigration issues. Was able to negotiate a dismissal without a plea entered.

    Alleged conduct: Client accused of kidnapping for rape or robbery as well as a laundry list of other serious felonies. Client looking at many years to life in prison. Jury verdict was mixed. Client was found not guilty on the most serious life charges but was found guilty on some of the other felonies. Because of clients extensive criminal record the client did have to go to prison but will be paroled. Case is pending appeal.
