When you're going through the worst time of your life (divorce) it's so comforting to know that you have someone in your corner who will fight...REALLY fight for you!
I was having a bad experience with another attorney in San Jose who did absolutely nothing for me. He was ignoring my case as if it weren't important to him - meanwhile my ex-husband was selling off assets and spending all of our money. I fired that other attorney and started interviewing for a replacement right away. After interviewing several attorneys I found Mr. Hirsch. It was like the skies opened up and a ray of sunshine shone down on the darkest time of my life. He made me feel like my case was the most important one he was working on. He was compassionate to my situation, and at the same time he aggressively pursued my interests. My case (which I thought would go on forever) was wrapped up relatively quickly with his help, and almost entirely in my favor. Not only WOULD I recommend him, I HAVE recommended him to several people.
Went to Mr. Hirsch's office. I asked if the consultation was free. He said yes. We talked for about an hour and a half. Half an hour was Mr. Hirsch telling me about how great he is, how he will fight for me, and listening to his stories. During the meeting I let him know that I was trying to decide on which lawyer to use. About a week passed and I receieved communication from Mr. Hirsch asking if I was going to use him. I told him I was not. Then a few days later I receive a letter stating I owe him for the "free" consultation. Hmm, interesting.
My first review was rejected by this site. I guess I was too honest about Hr. Hirsch. Let's see if this goes through.
I cannot recommend Hr. Hirsch.
