First of all, Sean is the only one who replied my email within the same day. Then I made an appointment with him and went to Sean's office for some answers about my personal immigration issue. My case is not complicated but Sean was very patient and knowledgable. I was happy to know what I should do to lower the risk in my h1b and green card process.
I recently consulted with Sean regarding a discrimination and harassment issue that has created a hostile work environment at my place of employment. Sean was extremely knowledgeable and insightful about the laws surrounding harassment. In fact, during the consultation, Sean was able to piece together information about my case that I had never even considered. Not only was he honest in his assessment, but I felt he would approach my case with my best interests at heart. I would highly recommend consulting with Sean Olender for any employment law issues.
Sean called me back long after normal work hours after I left him a message with little detail about my issue. Sean took the time to understand all aspects of what was going on. He was patient and insightful. Sean didn't have to spend an hour with me on the phone but he did! It was a free consultation that he very easily could have dismissed after only a few minutes. Unfortunately this is not a case where he can represent me but if he could, he undoubtedly be my choice. Thank you Sean for taking the time to speak with me, provide excellent advice and point me in the right direction.
I have a lot of experience in dealing with Sean and his staff. We applied for 2 H1-B’s which unfortunately did not make it through visa lottery selection in 2013 and 2014. Sean suggested I apply for an 18 month J –visa in 2013, which was successful. We then transferred to an O visa in 2015. Sean did an excellent job with the H1-B visa preparation and due to the convoluted nature of the J to O visa process did an even better job. Sean was extremely knowledgeable on the process and nuances involved and worked very hard on my case.
My wife entered the US illegally and Sean got my wife a green card in five months start to finish! My wife and I visited Sean to see if she could get a green card using the I-601 waiver. During the appointment Sean asked us a lot of questions and learned that my I had served in the military. Sean said that we might qualify for the hardship waiver, but that we didn't have a lot of hardship evidence and that because I served in the military that my wife could get something called parole-in-place for military spouses and get a green card much faster and easier that way. Sean filed the parole-in-place application and about a month later my wife got parole. Then that made it possible for my wife to adjust status as the spouse of my US citizen husband. The adjustment part took four months. Now my wife's case is approved and she's a permanent resident. She did not have to leave the US to get her US residence. Sean asked a lot of questions and was careful to find the easiest path for her instead of the most obvious one that we initially came in for. That saved a lot of time and money and also saved a nerve wracking trip outside of the US to get a visa at the consulate. We have a young daughter and I worked long hours, so getting legal status for me was very important to our family. I recommend Sean to all because he is trustworthy lawyer and performed an awesome quality work on my wife's immigration case.
I contacted Sean to consult regarding a complicated immigration situation was in. Sean gave me great amount of time in providing free consultation. Upon Sean's suggestion, I made paperwork ready, contacted immigration and submitted paperwork they asked for (which was exactly what Sean had recommended). I thank Sean for helping me out gratuitously while I obtained peace of my mind by carrying out the action.
My wife and I approached Sean's office on a specific issue that needed immediate attention. Sean's assistant was courteous and set up an appointment at very short notice. He was transparent on what he felt was the best course of action while weighing pros and cons.Highly recommended,-professional and very knowledgeable.
I engaged Sean for an employment based immigration related issue, and I am very satisfied with his work. Specifically, his charges were very reasonable, and he appeared to be genuinely interested in the outcome of my case.
I hired Sean to help my stepson who was ordered deported when he was young. He and his mother sneaked into the country and he was only five when he got ordered deported for not showing up to his hearing. Sean did some research and said that there were cases that said if immigration gave the parent a copy of the notice to show up for a hearing, the child got it too as far as they were concerned. He said the amazing thing about it was that the INS attorney in my son’s case from Harlingen Texas was the same INS attorney who argued the appeal case years earlier that said that the child was responsible for not showing up!
Sean called the INS attorney and negotiated with her to make a joint motion to cancel the deportation order and then also to cancel the deportation hearing so that it was like my stepson had never been deported. This worked and the judge reopened the case, canceled the deportation and then shut the case.
I started to speak to this lawyer. Immediately he started interrupting me over and over to hear me out about the strong legal terms. He just wanted to know if he can make money out from me. I was scared and shy to speak to an attorney in the first place. Instead of giving me a free consultation, he wanted to know what the end was? I again told him I'm getting to that...I told him that our conversation is just 10 mins long. He just kept on pressuring me to give him terms on discrimination. I felt here I'm trying to give him details on wrongful management and unfair treatment, but who am I speaking to, a wall, who ll only go about their own way. I will not at all refer this lawyer because he sounds very very immature, young, no patience and in return made me very upset due to the fact of not hearing my unfair treatment of working for an IT firm for almost 2 years, and gotten goals met after a difficult and discrimination nature of boss.
Then created ways for wrongful termination
