Sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose a parent, and it's much worse if you believe their death could have been prevented, or if they suffered needlessly. You should be able to find a lawyer to take the case on a contingency fee basis (meaning, fees paid at the end of the case) and who will pay case costs. Isolation from family members is one tactic perpetrators of elder abuse use to facility their abuse. On the other hand, if your eldest sibling suspects you of some sort of abuse towards your Mom, your sibling might also try isolating her. You don't mention whether you have spoken to your Mom about this. Talk to your Mom directly, in person. The fact that she is in a dementia facility raises the question of whether she would be competent to change her will, assuming it was done recently....
