DUI in CA but student in CO.

Generally CA will not give credit to any school outside of CA-no exceptions for Colorado. In order to get your CDL school requirement fullfilled you will have to enroll (and ultimately complete) a certified DUI class in CA.when you return in 3.5 years.

I have a prior petty theft from 4 years ago and have to go to court tomorrow for new shoplifting charges. But I'm in rehab.

Make copies of your re-hab doc's for both the DA and the court and ask to place one in each file. Let the judge know how long you are expected to be in the program and indicate that you will be asking for a reduced charge/improved plea deal if you complete the program. Ask that either a PD be appointed or if you can afford a priviate attorney ask that the matter be put over a few weeks so you can appear with your private attorney.
