I got myself into a little situation after I assaulted somebody. Daniel kept me informed and did everything possible for this to "go away." Everything was resolved outside of court and I have no record and didn't even have to show up to court. He worked much better than I expected (b/c he looked so young) but he is very experienced. He was speedy and very professional. I would hire him again if necessary. Totally recommend him!

Ironically, I did not hire Mr. Flores to represent me with my DUI case. However, I did consult with Mr. Flores for a 2nd opinion on my case since I am an "Out Of State" DUI case which means I don't have a CA license nor am I a California resident. All I can say is that most attorneys will charge you a fee for a 2nd Opinion of $150. NO FEE charged by Mr. Flores (for starters). Add how sharp and detail oriented Mr. Flores is and I only WISH I had hired him as my primary attorney. I think it is CRITICAL for attorneys to be very point specific and provide as much detail and information as possible for my case. My primary attorney only gave me 'The Broad Strokes' - - - since the state throws you in jail, finger prints you, takes your mugs shot and puts in a cell with murderers and rapists...providing the broad strokes is not a good representation. Anyone who has a DUI should contact Mr. Flores. He is by far the most competent DUI attorney I have ever encountered for consultation and legal advice.

I'm involved in a complicated family law case where I was accused of criminal conduct. One of the family members very close to my wife -- made up an incident that, if true, would have given full custody of our children to my wife. Fortunately, I was able to retain Daniel for his expertise in this area. Daniel was very knowledgeable and professional, working closely with my divorce attorney and me. My wife got a second DUI and I needed to find her a good attorney for a Walnut Creek court. Using the internet, I found Avvo.com that rated lawyers and provided client reviews. I read all of the reviews for the top six lawyers, giving special attention to those reviews for DUI offenses. My wife can worry about every little thing and needed some one that would be responsive and answer all of her concerns.
Daniels reviews indicated that he was the lawyer for my wife, responsive at any time, clients were pleased with the outcomes of their cases and his cost was very reasonable.
My wife wanted to interview multiple lawyers and was extremely concerned about the amount of jail time she was possibly facing and losing her job as a result of jail time. In general, I do not have a very high opinion of lawyers, and I convinced her that there was little to be gained by meeting with a number of lawyers. They will all sound good in person and client input was much more important. My only concern was could I trust the reviews online that I had read. I decided that lacking personally knowing a client, the reviews were the best we could do and Daniel got my vote.
Daniel communicates extremely will, he knows the process and has a plan to get the best possible results for his client. My wife was very dedicated to giving Daniel the best client situation she could provide. She enrolled in and completed an intensive outpatient recovery program and aggressively attended multiple AA meetings daily between her arrest date and her court date. She provided Daniel detailed documentation of her efforts. We hoped for the best and planned for the worst.
Daniel satisfied all of the wife’s concerns in a very timely manner throughout the process, and used my wife’s efforts to negotiate an outcome that far exceeded our best hopes.

Daniel has been a great help to our family. Our minor son got in some trouble and we didn't feel comfortable leaving things in the hands of a court appointed attorney. He was highly recomended by a family friend and we're very happy with the service he provided. Mr. Flores is very professional, easy to talk to and work with. I had been accused of misdemeanor battery, my first legal charge apart from a parking ticket. Background- I had been in an altercation with several nightclub bouncers, knocked out, and charged with Battery. I felt that I was not guilty in the charge that was given to me, and I felt lost as where to begin in the legal world. I am a student in a professional school, leaving me little time and a very heavy risk professionally for being charged. Daniel Flores was referred to me by a civil lawyer based out of San Francisco after I had an unfortunate experience at a local bar which led to my arrest and booking. Daniel was able to lower the charges to a misdemeanor and assisted dramatically with notifying and educating my employer as to the details surrounding the case. He was very thorough in his disposition, and negotiated a better deal then expected. I am still dumbfounded as to getting arrested for throwing a plate of nachos on someone, and think that in a sense it is comical that my tax dollars are being spent on this rather than on real crime, however am very glad that Daniel was there to mediate and resolve the case.

What your about to read sounds like an infomercial for Daniel Flores. But I am truly a client of his. I was got speeding on the Bay Bridge going through the S-curve and was subsequently arrested for DUI.

Sadly I was arrested for DUI. I attempted to represent myself because I work with the courts and I know, with a DUI there isn't much that you can do, especially if you your guilty and you know your guilty, which I was. On my first appearance the judge told me I needed to get an attorney to represent me. =(
What to do? I have heard nothing but pretty negative things about defense attorneys and how they milk people for money, especially with DUI’s since the majority of people arrested for DUI’s are encountering the criminal justice system for the first time. Without going into details I really do know how the courts work, and I didn’t want to have to deal with some shyster lawyer that was going to try to charge me five grand to represent me.
By happenstance I found Daniel Flores. With my case, I knew I was guilty and what I needed was damage control.
When I talked with Daniel he totally understood. He did not try to high ball me with cost at all. In fact he recommended the least expensive route for his service. He communicated with me throughout the entire court proceedings, which I did not have to attend, and he negotiated an extremely fair settlement for the crime I committed with the District Attorney’s office.

I've never retained the services of lawyer prior to my arrest for a DUI Charge. Mr. Flores was referred to me by a good friend and I'm glad that he did. Mi esposo y yo estuvimos en un accidente de auto y las personas involucradas mintieron sobre los daños recibidos. Por meses estuvimos usando defensores publicos y todo lo que nos decian era que mi esposo merecia ir a la carcel por los supuestos daños que recibieron esas personas. Nosotros encontrabamos esto injusto porque estas personas estaban mintiendo y a nadie parecia importarle lo que habia pasado. El proceso se prolongo casi un año y cada vez que ibamos a la corte teniamos un defensor publico diferente q nos aconsejaba q escogieramos pagar carcel. Despues de varios meses decimos pagar un abogado privado y buscando en internet encontre por suerte al abogado Daniel Flores. Para mi habian ciertas cosas que eran sumamente importantes y las voy a enumerar por que en el abogado Daniel Flores las encontre todas

1--- El habla perfecto español (muchos dicen hablar español y a la hora de la verdad no se les entiende nada)

2--- El nos escucho sin juzgarnos y se intereso por nuestra version de los hechos. Nunca nos vio como un caso mas al cual podia sacarle dinero. El vio personas que necesitaban ayuda y merecian justicia.

3--- El hizo su trabajo (Siempre llegaba preparado a la corte y exigio pruebas de que esas personas decian estar lastimadas. El no se conformo con lo mas facil. Otros abogados solo querian aceptar lo primero que ofrecian que era la carcel sin pensar en las consecuencias para nuestra familia. El abogado Flores lucho y se resbusco para que nos dieran una oferta justa.

4--- El abogado Flores nos escuchaba y contestaba todas nuestras preguntas. Yo personalmente le preguntaba lo mismo una y otra vez y el siempre me contesto de buena manera, pacientemente hasta que no me quedaba ni una sola duda.

5--- El sabe lo que hace, conoce la ley, conoce los procesos legales y tiene mucha experiencia en su campo. En mis propias palabras es un lince en lo que hace. El va a hacer todo lo posible hasta conseguir lo mejor realisticamente posible para su cliente.

6--- Siempre que lo llamabamos lograbamos comunicarnos con el. Cuando lo llamabamos le dejabamos un mensaje en su correo de voz y el siempre nos devolvio las llamadas.

7--- Siempre nos explico lo que estaba haciendo y lo que pasaba en el proceso.

8--- La primera consulta es GRATIS... pudimos hablar con el, explicarle el caso y luego decidir si lo queriamos contratar o no.

En nuestro caso hubo unas consecuencias por que el accidente si paso... Pero no hubo que pagar carcel y nosotros consideramos que las consecuencias fueron lo que era justo... Les digo que las personas que decian no haber podido trabajar en meses por supuestas lesiones terminaron no alegando nada... Mi teoria es que cuando se dieron cuenta de que el abogado no iba a tomar su palabra por cierta y exigio pruebas se asustaron... Que conste q esa es solo mi teoria...
