Pamela Lawton Wilson

Ms. Wilson has extensive expertise in campaign finance, ethics, and lobbying matters. Her clients include public officials and political action committees in ethics and campaign finance matters before the FPPC and the San Diego Ethics Commission. Ms. Wilson prosecutes and defends ballot litigation on candidate and committee statements, referendum elections and statements of candidacy. From May 2006 to 2007 Ms. Wilson was president of the California Political Attorneys Association.

I have represented business owners in lawsuits brought claiming disability access violations under the ADA. I have assisted plaintiffs and defendants in connection with Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation or so called "SLAPP" suits. Anti-SLAPP motions allow defendants obtain quick dismissals of lawsuits and win fee awards. Plaintiffs must avoid complaints that are vunerable to anti-SLAPP motions or they risk costly consequences.

I have represented clients before the California Court of Appeal in a variety of matters.

I am a LEED-AP. I represented a developer in a dispute over a LEED project. I have also represented environmental consultants and developers in disputes arising from projects.
