Andrea G. Musicant is an Employment and Labor attorney in the Klinedinst San Diego office. As part of her practice, Ms. Musicant counsels employers on a wide array of matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination and retaliation, sexual harassment, wage and hour claims, unfair competition, and privacy violations. She also proactively provides guidance to employers on best practices, including management seminars, training, and employee handbooks.
Prior to joining Klinedinst, Ms. Musicant was a partner at a San Diego-based firm that handled employment and labor, as well as banking and real estate matters. Within the community, she is a sustaining member of Lawyers Club of San Diego, which seeks to advance the status of women in the law and in society. She has helped launch various fundraisers for Lawyers Club and Casa Cornelia Law Center, and is currently serving as Chair of the Lawyers Club of San Diego's annual dinner.
Ms. Musicant is a former judicial extern to the Honorable David R. Thompson , United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She earned her law degree from the University of California Hastings College of Law, where she was an oral advocate in national Moot Court competition and a member of the Hasting's Women Law Journal. She earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from University of California, Berkeley.
